TUE 06-JUN-2006 (157) - MOBY still unable to dial in
THU 15-JUN-2006 (166) - 20 hour file, LuMid is messed up, is this when they were doing divercals?
THU 06-JUL-2006 (187) - Es collectpr bird spikes were bent, may be in field of view (not straightened)
SAT 22-JUL-2006 (203) - 22 hour file, the dark scans on the red spec have a downturn on the ends (LuTop, LuMid, LuBot)
THU 27-JUL-2006 (208) - 22 hour file, Es red and blue dont vary together.
TUE 08-AUG-2006 (220) - On Aug 8 the light scans from the EdMid sensor were essentially dark scans.
While dismantling MOBY 234 post deployment for refurbishment it was discovered
that the mid Ed fiber had failed. Upon further inspection the fiber had become
glued to the channel used to house the optical fibers. The fiber
was stuck about 1.5m above the multiplexer and about 5cm down from
this and above the MUX the glass had broken and penetrated the
protective covering. The fiber was replaced and calibrated.
THU 10-AUG-2006 (222) - 20 hour file, EdMid is dark.
SAT 23-SEP-2006 (266) - MOBY235 in the water at Lanai on the morning of 23th and towed out to the site
and hooked up that evening. First data set taken next day on 24th

Hi Steph,
I went to MOBY on 26 and 27 Oct. Participants were Mark Y, Steve J. and Neil.
On the 26th I recovered 6 data files of prior "good" measurement days,
divers took pictures, and performed "dirty" cals of Es and Lu. On the
27th we were able to do the optics cleaning and a physical inspection
of the tether, swivel and mooring buoy but could not do "clean" dive cals due to an
unrepairable failure of a telemetry cable connector. The tether and
wire were still intact. We were unable to do any electrical tests of the tether.
